両方のログをつき合わせると、かなりちぐはぐですね。
時間が違っていたとしても、同じホストへの通信で行われる手順は同じだと
考えられます。つまり、受信と送信が間逆になったログが記録されると
思います。しかしながら、そうはなっていないようです。

考えられる原因は送信元のサーバーとまっきーさんのサーバーとの間に
メールゲートウェイなどがあり、通信を横取りしているという状況ですが
そういうことは無いのでしょうか。

command line too longを返すということはRFC 2821の4.5.3.1で
規定されているCRLFを含めて512バイトを越えるメッセージを送ったか
受け取り側のMTAで指定している上限値を越えたかだと思いますが、
xの数が実際のホストの場合と同じならこれで越えるとは考えられないですね。

RFC 2821では421はService not available, closing transmission channelで、
command line too longなどの文法エラーは500なので相手のMTAのメッセージ
がかなり変な気もしますが。
